Type Paris 2018
The 4th edition of our 5-week type design-intensive program TypeParis, started on 11 June & ended on the 13rd of July 2018, and I was invited to participate on the 20th of June.  I had great pleasure in assisting the attendees and discussing their ideas and process. Getting immersed in a type design project is an enjoyable experience and TypeParis created the best environment for that. At the end o the day I had the pleasure to give a talk at Le Tank, together with Thomas and Hugo from Spassky Fischer studio.
For those who are interested in the talk, here is the link.

I'm extremely thankful for the invitation and the kind words they wrote about me:
"Laura’s kind and direct critique during the day were eagerly absorbed by the class. We could see that Laura knows what she’s talking about when she took us through a detailed look at some of her work that night. She broke down a lot of her process, revealing that she studies and researches thoroughly whenever she reaches an impasse in the project. This yields thoughtful and extremely thorough work. I particularly enjoyed her connection to lettering and the interesting way she is able to blend various disciplines, from calligraphy to lettering, to type design. Each discipline informs and impacts the others, resulting in a unique body of work. Thanks for being with us, Laura."
